Little Kashi ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use https://littlekashi.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have, including under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Data we collect
Information you give us
- Name, email address, mobile number and delivery address when you place an order or create an account.
- Order details and notes, refund requests, and messages you send through our contact form, email or WhatsApp.
- Your account password (stored only in encrypted, hashed form).
Information collected automatically
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type and device information, and pages visited.
- Cookies that keep you signed in, remember your cart and language preference, and protect against fraud.
- If enabled, advertising and analytics cookies (for example, the Meta Pixel) to measure the performance of our ads. See section 6.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive confirmation of the payment authorisation (hold), its capture or release, the amount, the payment method type and a payment reference. We never receive or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or banking passwords.
2. Why we use your data
- To process your order: place it with our supplier, verify your payment, collect or release the held amount, arrange delivery and send order updates.
- To provide customer support, handle cancellations, returns and refunds, and respond to your messages.
- To keep the Website secure and prevent fraud and misuse.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- With your consent, to show you relevant offers or measure our advertising.
3. Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary, with:
- Suppliers who fulfil your order (your name, delivery address and phone number, so the parcel can reach you).
- Courier and logistics partners for delivery and tracking.
- Razorpay to process payments and refunds.
- Service providers that help us run the Website, such as hosting and email delivery providers.
- Authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights and users.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. How long we keep it
We keep order and payment records for as long as required by Indian tax and accounting laws (generally up to 8 years). Account data is kept while your account is active. Contact messages are kept for up to 2 years. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.
5. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to:
- access a summary of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct or update inaccurate data;
- erase your data (except where we must keep it by law, for example invoices);
- withdraw consent you have given (for example, for marketing); and
- nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.

6. Cookies and advertising
Essential cookies are needed for the Website to work (sign-in, cart, language, security). If we use advertising or analytics cookies such as the Meta Pixel, they help us understand which ads are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential features may stop working if you do.
7. Children's privacy
Our store sells children's products, but our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, access controls and trusted payment and hosting partners to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the authorities of any personal data breach as required by law.
